The short film ‘Fish’ directed by Saman Hosseinpour has been scheduled to go on screen at the 5th edition of the Mice Film Festival in Valencia, Spain.
Media recently announced that three Iranian short films are selected to go the festival’s screen.
‘Fish’, which is the third product of Hosseinpour, has received a number of international awards so far.
The 32-year-old Iranian filmmaker has written and directed three short films.
‘Fish’ is about the issue of shortage of water in Iran. It will compete with films from Spain, Germany, the US, Uruguay, Russia, Czech Republic, North Ireland, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Mexico, India, Italy and the Netherlands.
The other Iranian short films to compete at the same event have been directed by Farkhondeh Torabi and Sara Hesari.
Fifth Mice Film Festival will take place in Valencia as well as other Valencian cities and Madrid, Spain, on February 19-26, 2017. The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 26, in Valencia.
